There are two ways to register for this exam.
The online mode will be active from October 31st 2011 to December 10th 2011. You can also sale the application forms and apply for it, application forms process will happen from November 11th 2011 to December 5th 2011. The last date for registration through both the modes is December 15th 2011.
This time students are expected to score a minimum of 10% marks each in physics, chemistry and math. Also, a minimum aggregate 35% is required to appear in the common rank list this year.

IIT JEE Exam 2012 Pattern:-
IIT-JEE 2011 is a single-stage examination divided into two papers. Each paper is of three hours and consists of three separate sections, comprising of questions from Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
Paper 1:- Paper1 had 84 questions in total - in the order of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Each subject had 28 questions and the pattern was exactly the same for all the subjects. All questions carried 3 marks. Hence the maximum mark for the paper is 252.
Paper 2:- Paper 2 had 57 questions in total - in the order of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Each subject had 19 questions and as in paper 2 the pattern was exactly the same across the subjects. But questions had differential markings, each subject had 79 marks and the maximum mark for the paper is 237.
