Most important question 4 competitive exam, I have face this question In 27 june UGC NET Paper I
Right to Information Act 2005(India), RTI Awards 2010, www.righttoinformation.gov.in, www.rtiawards.org, RTI(India) - 2005, RTI Awareness Quiz,

What is Right to Information Act (RTI)?

The Right to Information Act (RTI) is a law enacted by the Parliament of India "to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens." The Act applies to all States and Union Territories of India, except the State of Jammu and Kashmir - which is covered under a State-level law. Under the provisions of the Act, any citizen (excluding the citizens within J&K) may request information from a "public authority" (a body of Government or "instrumentality of State") which is required to reply expeditiously or within thirty days. The Act also requires every public authority to computerise their records for wide dissemination and to proactively publish certain categories of information so that the citizens need minimum recourse to request for information formally.

This law was passed by Parliament on 15 June 2005 and came fully into force on 13 October 2005 [1]. Information disclosure in India was hitherto restricted by the Official Secrets Act 1923 and various other special laws, which the new RTI Act now relaxes.

General Knowledge Quiz Questions & Answers (yahoo-domain | Credit Card | Forex Trading | VoIP )

What is Domain Name?
A domain name locates an organization or other entity on the Internet. For example, the domain name

www.yahoodomain.com

locates an Internet address for "yahoo-domain.com" at Internet point 199.0.0.2 and a particular host server named "www." The "com" part of the domain name reflects the purpose of the organization or entity (in this example, "commercial") and is called the top-level domain name. The "yahoodomain" part of the domain name defines the organization or entity and together with the top-level is called the second-level domain name. The second-level domain name maps to and can be thought of as the "readable" version of the Internet address. ( cheapest domain registration )

What is Credit Card?
A credit card is a small plastic card issued to users of a system of payment. It allows its holder to buy goods and services based on the holder's promise to pay for these goods and services.[1] The issuer of the card grants a line of credit to the consumer (or the user) from which the user can borrow money for payment to a merchant or as a cash advance to the user. Usage of the term "credit card" to imply a credit card account is a metonym. (interest credit card, zero interest credit cards, small business credit card, lowest credit card rates)

What is VoIP?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is simply the transmission of voice traffic over IP-based networks.

The Internet Protocol (IP) was originally designed for data networking. The success of IP in becoming a world standard for data networking has led to its adaption to voice networking.
